The Japan Road Contractors Association (JRCA) is a national trade association
representing the road building industry in Japan. About 170 leading companies in the industry are members. |
|
JRCA was established in 1945 right after the end of World War II, when
the roads in Japan were indeed terrible. Most roads were unpaved gravel roads and the few paved roads had been massively damaged. |
|
Since then JRCA has been involved in the development and maintenance of better roads and road networks. | |
The main objectives of JRCA are : To enhance road building technology ; To promote the sound progress of the road building industry ; To encourage and support the development of roading infrastructure. |
